Trim Mesh Face on irregular shaped quad

Hi, 

I have searched and cannot find an answer for this. I have mesh tools. 

Ecotect seems to have no problem when dividing a surface into rectangular quads and trimming the tiles to fit the shape. However, in GH I cannot figure this out even with Wbird. I have mad it work in Wbird, but not evenly distributed like Ecotect. Is there a way to trim mesh faces? My workflow was created a single mesh from the endpoint vertices and then subdividing it with WBird. If there is an easy solution let me know.
