algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I am trying to tessellate a dome to identical hexagons (ground condition can be sliced). After having the tiling, I need to morph a pattern in each of the hexagons. I tried two ways of tiling but both didn't lead me to regular hexagons. And I was not able to define amount of subdivision. I am attaching rhino and gh file I was working on.

any attempt to cover the sphere in hexagonal shaped pieces,
no matter how small and no matter how many, will always require the 
use of exactly 12 pentagonal shaped pieces!
