Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've installed Rhino 4.0 + Grasshopper 0.7.0053 on my win 7, but right clicking on some of the "input" letters of components ( for example the "i" input on LIST components) causes both grasshopper and rhino to get closed.

I was wondering if anybody could give me a hand with this trouble.

+ my win 7 is a 64bit one
I've tried to install the previous versions of grasshopper on my laptop, but in the 06.0059 version an error appeared during the loading phase. (I've attached the screenshot to this comment)
after Installing the 060.0019 version the Rhino + Grasshopper get closed just after Grasshopper's window appears in Rhino.
Then I tried to launch grasshopper in SafeMode of Rhino (not the SafeMode of windows), and it said that there is no .NEt plug-in in the system, but I've installed Microsoft Framework 1.1 . . .

so the Problem remains unsolved in an EMERGENCY SITUATION!!

Hi Mehrad,

I've encoutered a similar problem and the bug was that I have an old version of StructDrawRhino plug-in installed, by uninstalling and then upadating GH worked properly.

good luck
tanx Claudio for your reply, but I haven't installed StructDraw

hope to find the solution soon!
Hi Mehrad,

There's been mixed reports of success of loading Grasshopper and associated plug-ins (I develop StructDrawRhino that was mentioned, we recently found a workaround) in 64 bit windows.

If you roll back to GH0.6.0059, I seem to recall that rhinocommon folder remained when I first tried to do so (C:\Program Files (x86)\Rhinoceros 4.0\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\rh_common) By deleting this folder (it's not used in 0.6.0059) I think the old version worked again. I might be wrong that it was this exact folder as it was some time ago, worth a try.
Hi Jon;

tanx for your reply, but the problem was again solved by copying a bunch of FONTs into my font folder . . .
