algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to overwrite a text file on a mapped network drive.

The Message I get is that another Process is using the file.

I have full Administrative rights.

I have checked to see if anyone has it open or another instance of the program.

I have tried UNLOCKER without success.

Any suggestions.

I get that sometimes even on my own laptop. Windows either mistakenly thinks a process is still locking a file or there is something naughty which doesn't show up in the task manager. Restarting my laptop is the only way to fix that, but I appreciate this is not a solution for a network drive.... Sorry for being useless.

Hi,

i figured most of the time it happens to me when i have one explorer window at the same folder location and as soon as i change this i am able to overwrite and rename the file.

Thanks guys.  As it turns out the software that had a handle on this file was locking it for 15 minutes after shutting down. Go figure! Talk about infuriating
