algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've got a problem with ray/mesh intersection. Images describe it better :)

The points in middle are not connected. Why is that? The logic in the design seems ok to me (from a programming perspective)

Any ideas?

Thnx

Hello,

Hi and thanks Marios,

Not exactly, with this you connect the "hit points on the mesh" with the "start point".

As you can see I generate a list of vectors with origin and destination on the grid points. My brain says (i not sure if Im missing some GH thing) that if a send this list to the "ray/mesh" Ill get a list of bools that I can use for culling the original list of grid points. (the rays that did hit, i.e. the rays end point, is culled).

So I connect the remaining points with the start point. (I dont want to connect the hit locations as all)

Any ideas?

Best,

Hi Marios,

I solved it with "collision", What I've been missing is the "semi-infinate" part of the "ray/mesh" tool :) Now its make sense!

Thanks, next time you are here and have a beer :)

T

Most probably beer gets in order for July.

I totally missed what you were trying to do, but it's a good thing that you did find the solution to this..

what are you making? visibility graphs?

M.

Sounds good :)

Not really, some simple tests.
