Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've been trying to create a regular square grid from an irregular surface and i finished with the attached definition, my problem is that i wanted now to create window frames out of that grid, but the pipe effect isn't what i needed, since in reality such a structure would cause a lot of trouble as a window frame. Is there any way to get a square piping effect in this?

I've tried using Sweep1, but nothing happens... any help?

Edit: actually, a lot of rails appear, just on the origin of the curve I want to sweep.

Hola Ignacio:

Please see  image attached.

I worked on only one srf, but the same logic should work in any other srf

I think that splitting your surfaces is not a good idea, since you will generate doble edges.

I worked with contour, i think is faster for gh to calculate

I'll give it a try, thanks! :)

Actually managed to eliminate the duplicate lines with Kangaroo and then used GG's Sweep Profile, managed to shorten the definition by a lot :)
