Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Everyone,

I am trying to merge two lists together.

The first list has one branch and the second list has 11 branches.

I am trying to combine them into a list of 12 branches with the added branch at the beginning.

I have attached a jpeg that might help explain the issue.

It seems to be a rather easy fix but I just haven't figured it out yet.

If anyone could help that would be great !

Thanks

Hi Michelle,

Use "Shift path" component instead of "simplify" at the one branch tree.

Add "Path mapper" to another tree consisting of 10 branches:

Hey djordje,

Thanks a lot. I was able to do it, however because of the way my data was structured i had to put

{A,B} ->  {A,B+1} into the path mapper.

Thanks for the help.

Best,

Michelle

You could do that too, but if you simplify the second tree with 10 branches (the way you already did), then there is no need for involving the "B" into your Path mappers Combo editor.
My part of the suggestion for replacing the "simplify" with "Shift path" was related only to the first tree (the one with one branch). You should keep the "simplify" at the other (ten branched) tree.
