algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to make a grid on s surface that works like on the attatched picture. The top edge of the surface is not horizontal, but the grid needs to be. I need to be able to use different objects as tiles, and even create patterns...

So far my approach as been to use surface frames, it outputs the frames arranged in a tree so it's relatively easy to locate each frame, and then use orient to place an object drawn in rhino on each frame. But I can't figure out how to make the grid orthogonal when the top edge is not horizontal...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks, I haven't had time to test it jet, hopefully tomorrow!
I'll let you know how it works!
Hi, thanks for your definition, it doesn't really work though...
The project component just returns null values, what version of gh did you use? I use v7, maybe that's why?
hi Emil,
I'm using 6.0059. For some reason the project component returns null items in 7.0030.

Sorry!

Evert
Could there be any other solutions? I have to use v7, because I work with some long curves, and they seem to loose precision in v6...

Thanks anyways!
Anybody else have some ideas?
