Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

so, i'm a first-time kangaroo user. i'm okay at grasshopper.

what i'm trying to do with kangaroo is have a circular mesh, which would represent a water droplet, interact [as a water droplet would] with a cluster of strings that i'd simulated attraction to one-another using processing and imported into rhino. now, using that cluster of strings, i want to put a water droplet into it and have it interact with these strings, considering behaviors of gravity, surface tension [of water], and how the water droplet would change its shape as well to the strings. so then both the strings and the water will effect one another.

i can't even 'pull to mesh' right now to even get the 'surface tension' aspect across. nothing happens. i don't know how to make things happen in kangaroo. can someone help me? it is probably something very simple than i just don't know about.

Looks like you've accidentally uploaded the lock file, not the actual Rhino file - post the .3dm and I can take a look.

sorry here's the right one. thanks so much! also i've included a picture of an example of what the droplet might behave like.

hopefully the attached definition helps get things started

incredibly helpful- can you explain it a little bit to me though? why is it that the points tend to float around the sphere and are not constrained to the mesh surface more tightly?
