algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Points with same distance from base point Curve does not show averagely.

Hi, I'm doing a facade, the base curve is imported from CAD.

The problem is when I use shatter to cut points on the curve with a same distance, the function behaves different at different position on the curve.

I've extract the curve and the GH components of this problem.

anyone know what's the problem or how can I fix it?

A Curve's Parameter is not the same as distance along curve. 

You will need to use the Evaluate Length component

The problem is I use Shatter, with the points I add or minus distance from divided points.

Also, because I use divide curve, the t parameter is inherited from that component so that shatter should be better to use.

OK, When I re-draw the curve again in Rhino, Everything became fine.

Does anyone know why curves imported from CAD may not behave properly?  (the curve is composed of arch and straight line) This is not the first time I come across this.
