algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I've noticed that the updated Divide Surface button appears to behave differently from the previous one in older versions of GH.

When trying to create sets of 4 point grids on surfaces, using the often demoed workflow of Surf Param > Divide > SubSrf > Surface Divide to get the 4 points of each sub surface. The current Divide Surface button only reads out the 0 and 1 points. Whereas the old component on the exact same definition will read out 0, 1, 2, 3 as hoped!

Is there a simple reason for this that's passed me bye? - i've been head scratching all afternoon...

Thanks,

David.

Hi David

I have am having the same problem as you. I have followed the advice from Mario and installed the link he posted, but it did not solve my problem. It still shows the same sequence of points. Was your problem solved after installing the fix?

Gordon
not sure what fix you can install the new component handles the data different, that's all there is to it. If you want to manipulate the data to look like the old component then have a look here: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/grasshopper-060059-availa...

Thanks a mill, I used the pathmapper and it worked brilliantly.

Cheers!
Thanks so much Mario!

Well spotted, that's a BIG help.
