Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

any thoughts to why this isn't working?

I'm trying to project the points from the curve seen in the photo to the xy plane.  The projection seems to be getting the data, but it doesn't appear as points on the screen.

I would then like to be able to measure between each point...any thoughts?

thanks

i opened up new window and rewrote the definition an it is now working ???

i thoughts to why this would be the case?
Is there something being printed in the Rhino Command history as each viewport refreshes? If there's a handled crash in the display, everything that hasn't yet been drawn will not appear.

after projecting the points from the curve down to the xy plane, any thoughts on how to measure between two points?

thanks - ryan
not sure why you'd get different behavior from one try at building the definition to the next... although I have been having some odd display glitches myself lately with grasshopper. As for measuring - one approach would be to construct a polyline through the projected points, explode it into its component segments, and then measure the curve length of each.
Hi!
not helping you BUT asking your help, eh eh...
where did you find the component "project"?i am getting crazy by generating sheeds, coz i don´t find this very useful tool ;(!

tnx a lot,
adele
To get components that you cannot locate from the tool bar, double click on the canvas and type the name into the keyword search field. This brings up a list of likely candidates. You might then have to differentiate between two similar ones by the names and number of inputs and outputs.
