algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I was wondering how can i make groups of geometry using regions, like in the image geometries in the same region should be in one group...the ones crossing the boundary should be grouped into the region where majority of its area is... How do i do that...

Would the centroid of the region be sufficient for grouping criteria? If so then look at [Containment] found on the Curve Tab>Anlysis Panel

Well the centers would work, but the problem is there are more than one curves, how do i know from the final list that which points are in which curve?

Also, the list show only first point being inside, while the rest outside...

I have attached both the files, have a look ...

Here's my try. But there is something wrong with this approach, possibly a bug in the [Containment], maybe its worth sending to David or posting this example in the Bugs area.

Thanks Danny, for your input...

Is there a way to extract geometry in the end instead of centerpoints...

I tried creating the set from my initial input geometries, and then culling them using (smaller than or equal to) component in your definition, but the create set component gave error....
