algorithmic modeling for Rhino

pardon, the newbie question

I want to create folded fabric surfaces

I am generating lines out of points imported from processing and then using these lines to create loft surfaces presently. as show in the image.

The thing is i want to generate mesh, instead of lofts - to further apply mesh relaxation to the surface to give it fabric effect.

Can anybody help me please ?

Thanks

Shil

Hook up your loft to the Mesh Brep component. This will give you a mesh...

Shil,

I am by no means an expert in this. In fact I rarely use meshes, so hopefully someone else can step in and help! Where did you get the mRelax component from? I've looked around and haven't found it. It's driving me nuts!

Having said that, perhaps this helps. I edited a definition I found that Ionut Anton wrote from here:

As for finding the naked edges of a mesh, it looks like the naked vertices component from that same link does this. In order to run the attached file, you will need to install the ForceDensityRelaxation_1.01.gha file from that link, and you will also need WeaverBird to subdivide the mesh so the deformation is relatively smooth (WB is not necessary but without it, the result is relatively abrupt!). Let me know how it goes...
