Script the creation of GH objects

Hi all,

Is there a way to script the creation of GH objects into the GH window.

Basic example, if I wanted to run a script that creates 3 sliders which connect to a points x, y, z inputs.

Hi Ben,

this is possible. But triggering the script will be tricky. If you want to add an object to the Tabs, or the menu, then you'll need to compile a gha library. Have you considered saving your 3-sliders+point setup as a ghx file and just dragging it into the canvas? There are 5 different options when dragging grasshopper files onto the canvas, you want to press the "I" key while dragging the file in or drag the cursor over the insert icon:

Thanks David for the quick reply.

No problem. I have just noticed User Objects which are great! I will look into a combination of clusters / user objects and saving out mini grasshopper files for the time being.
