Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

After saving, one of the outputs of my Sort component disappears. See bug.jpg. Attached are ghx and rhino files.

Thanks Chris,

I'm on it. We won't release until this is fixed.

Chris,

I solved the issue with reading and saving variable parameters, but any files you save with the current version will have missing "chunks". These files will fail to load properly even with the new version.

This only applies to components who synchronise output parameters to variable input parameters, such as Sort.

Funny, we discussed this 2 days ago, Anyway...

David, do we have to rebuild the definition from scratch in the new version? Or just need to open it in the new version, when it's ready, get the error message - and change the sort component out?

You should only have to reconnect the Sort component... I hope. It definitely won't destroy the rest of the components, but the Sort component itself and any wires going into it are suspect.

Not sure if the bug here is from the cull component it self or because its connected to the sort component, but thought I would just add it, just in case.

Ok, I saw now, when you copy and paste the sort component with the extra Input slot then it copies it with the extra input but one less output and causes a error and spit out the connection to the cull component resulting in that orange line going to the top left corner. It is in the picture I attached above.
Additional note: Just noticed that the outputs also disappear when copying and pasting the sort component.

Thanks for the link Ali, I used the fix listed there, putting several sorts instead of one with multiple outputs.
