Voronoi system flow along surface trim function doesn't work

Hello,

well as the title says, I have a problem with the trim function in my definition, no idea why it doesn't work. Guess or hope it is only a little mistake on my part. Maybe someone might help me pls.

The idea: I want to design a kind of a performative_organic wall. Hmm something out of two layers, each layer is designed in voronoi style, between this layers is a pneumatic system and several balloons. So the system put some air pressure in the balloon and this one comes out of the holes and looses pressure by time again, and gets refilled after a while ... Well, that's my idea in common.

If someone has an idea how to design the balloons would also be very helpfull! Or even any suggestions how to improve the attached definition.

cheers

Yep, ... it was a mistake on my part, damn it! I Forgot the "Flatten" function in the end!

but the problem with the ballons remains!

attached file shows the first concept model, build today, ...

Hey Sebastian your stuff looks great, I'm trying to do something similar with the trim function on the voronoi and its not working for me could you post your working definition? thanks

hey Julian,

well it was not that easy doing it. There were also some problems in the end and I couldn't solve it on my own, a friend tried to help me out but it didn't work! I attached a def but there is a failure in the end, maybe you find the solution?! I made a lot of this stuff by hand in the end. The picture above shows a model, it was handmade, with a thermoplastic method.

I will upload some pics of the result.

Looking for your results!! :-)

cheers
