algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi All,

I am new in that area. One of my customers asked me to create a Voronoi type flat surface.

I had a look at the other Voronoi type questions here but I have to admit it was too advanced for me.

Can anyone give me some instructions or point me to some guide with some simple steps to create such surface?

Thank you

How about this?  Just place some points on the XY plane in Rhino and instantiate them into the point parameter component using the set multiple points option.  The offset distance has been made negative with an internal expression in the offset component.

That looks very similar to what I was after.

Thank you Chris

Hi Chris,

I have played a bit with your file. It was great to start with and I have progressed a little.

As you can see I have created the surfaces as needed but how can I limit the outer border to be a rectangle for example?

Thank you

Jim

I need the outer shells to be restricted by that rectangle and end there.

Jim.

are you looking for this?

Thanks guys !!!

Visually looks great. I will test it.
