Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi !

I always wondered what was the purpose of the content filter in the grasshopper options, and never found any info about it.
What content is supposed to be filtered ?

Some people* have objected to certain icons being unfit for human consumption (notably the Duplicate and Random components). The content filter is a way to replace icons that have varying degrees of potential offensiveness with other icons.

* Well, just one person actually.

Funny ! I never thought that the Schrödinger's cat could be so offensive.
Thanks for the reply !

I thought it was the original Flatten Icon that was the most controversial. A cat all the same but unlike Schrodinger's it had no chance of survival.

Can't be nastier than Rhino Smash command's icon anyway.

Oddly enough happy bunnies were deemed more offensive than disembowelled cats. I found it strange too.

so if it's just for a few icons why are there 5 levels available on this filter?

I felt like going overboard with it. No better reason than that I'm afraid...

I noticed no censoring applies to kangaroo's g-string component picturing a round bum
