How to do a inflatable structure like this

I'm a grasshopper beginner. And I wanna do the inflatable structure like this, which can change its shape when meeting other struectures. But I don't know where to start...:(

Kangaroo would the obvious suggestion. There are many threads on inflatables here on the forum (use the the search function on the right) and an up-to-date example from Dan here.
