aligning rectangles to centre points through p frames

series%20hexagon%20structure.gh

Hi all

So I have completed my structural frame that I wanted.

But I have run into a problem, as the rectangles don't line up the way which I would like them to.

Basically, I need the center of the rectangles to go through the origin of the plane frames, but I am not sure how to

please help, I am not the amazing at grasshopper

Thank you

In advance

Create X/Y domains that go from '-x/2' To 'x/2'.  Those are the "expressions" on the inputs:

amazing!!!!! Thank you so much

Suggestion?  Your code can be simplified quite a bit to avoid all the copy/paste.  One thing, for example, would be to create just one level of beams, then move and rotate it four times:

@Joseph Oster can I ask the expression you wrote for the domain,

what is the reason for it so I can understand what is going on better?

as the diagonal domains are come up smaller than the real value.

The easiest way I can answer your question is to compare these two rectangles:

I'm just suggesting a way to align the center of rectangles.  If there's more to it than that, it's up to you.  Your model.

as soon as I wrote the post I figured out what x/2 is doing. thank you though
