algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello Everyone,

I have created attached tube structure using Cytoskeleton, Weaverbird, & Lunchbox.

Now i have to bake the structure to 3D part and export to ABAQUS for simulation.

Kindly someone help me to bake and export attached model to ABAQUS.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know if that works (never worked with Abaqus). I just found out that IGES (.igs, .iges) parts can be imported into Abaqus. Maybe you can try it that way: bake the geometry and export it as an IGES file in rhino. Then import it into Abaqus.

I am not able to bake and export the entire geometry (To get 3D model). could please help in getting IGES file of the complete geometry.

what is the last component in your definition? which plug in contain this component.

I think you're trying to export a mesh as a STEP, that's no possible. You have to convert the mesh to a Brep object. You can use the command: MeshToNurb in rhino.

You need to turn your mesh into Brep first, then you can bake them into rhino then, export them as IGES file

if you want to transfer them from mesh to Brep, you need connect those meshes to component "face boundary" "boundary surface" "brep join" = you will get your surface.
