algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello, I am very difficult to develop a surface similar to this model, where it is divided into several planes that maintain the horizontal orientation, but accompany the curvature of the original surface (just like the exemples ahead). I wonder if anyone has seen any tutorial or would you explain how to develop this model? Thank you for your attention. Note: It's not lazy, I'm already looking in the forum and youtube 5 days ago.
