Mapping diagrid to surface?

I am not sure how to go about fixing the way this diagrid is mapped onto the surface. In several places the panels on the surface open outward, and in other parts they are flat. I want them all to open outward. In other places on the surface the panels are compressed, which is not ideal. I have been looking at Woods Bagot's SHAMRI building for reference as to what I am trying to make it look like.
