Solar radiation falling on a building

Hi,

As part of my school project I would like to know the total amount of solar radiations falling on the surfaces of the building. The idea is to maximize the amount of it falling on the building by just changing the orientation of the building.

Any help would be appreciated.

I guess the ladybug radiation analysis component under environmental analysis tab is what you are looking for ?
