Connect Points With different list item

Hi Everybody!

Im trying to connect in many different ways those 8 cornes of my cube.

For example i would like to create lines only in the x direction or y or z or even the diagonal.

I've tried with the list item but im quite beginner and im not managing it enouth.

Could someone explain me this simples things?
