algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I did a similar search and found someone's definition, but it is way too complex for want I want to do and it doesn't teach me anything. I just want to do something simple.

Here is what I want to do

Sounds easy right? Instead of the starfish shape I get this triangle thing. And the triangle is not even symetrical!

Can someone take a look at my definition and let me know what I'm doing wrong? All I did was plug the equations in and then put a curve through it.

And given the opportunity ... er ... hmm... check this just for fun as well (only for freaks IF the enableFreakyZ is true).

Note: If any predefined combo is picked, values are fixed (but scaleX/Y works).

Note: Set autoZoom always true.

Nice one Peter. By the way, how did you implement the "auto zoom all" as the scale of the result gets larger. That would be useful to do in grasshopper.

Use the 2nd C# in order to zoom at Geometry Base types.

BTW: After finding the "right" bounding box the zoom is using the Method as shown in the last line.
