Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

New to GH. I just want to merge two short lines but in the same direction (eg, (([0,0,0],[3,3,3]) & ([2,2,2],[5,5,5])) into one line ([0,0,0],[5,5,5])? I thought this may simple ,but I tried several hours on this.

Hi.

Try This. (Line Set-03---> They are not collinear)

Attachments:

I will try this, seems will take some time.

Thank you very much!!!

extract the start point of the first curve, name it P1
extract the end point of the second curve, name it P2
create a line with P1 and P2.
done

Kidding?

I have thousands of lines.

Thank U

Kidding? I mean extract them with GH.

I get it, you mean automatically fetch 1000 curves and determine which line pairs which.

I think next time you will have to make your question more clear.

Kim's way has long calcultation time but it works well and the logic is easy to understand.

OK, thank you!
