Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Create vectors in points aligned to the lines connected to them.

Hi.

First of all, excuse me for my english and my knowledge of Grasshopper, I'm quite new with it.

In a uniplanar grid made of lines and points (not an entity itself) with only triangles, I want to create vectors in each point, aligned to the lines that are connected to that point.

The idea is to insert some predefined objects in each point and rotate them in the direction of those vectors.

In points where 2 lines are connected, the predefined objects will be, for example, "a" and "b". Where there are 3 lines, will be "a", "b" and "c", and so on to a maximum of 6 lines-objetcs in a same point. Each object will be rotated to one line, but it doesn't matter which object match which line, could be random.

With the magnificient "Sandbox topology" I can identify points with 2, 3, 4 etc. lines connected to them, but I don't know how to go further from there.

I left an image of the grid. The grassopper project have to work on any grid made with the same conditions.

Any help is welcome!

Thanks in advance.

J.

Thanks so much!

I'll try the second approach and will see.
