Offset Issues

Hello Everyone,

I am having trouble with the offset command in the grasshopper python component.

When I attempt to offset a closed polyline curve it's being exploded unnecessarily.  I have attempted several methods of offsetting.  When I offset using the grasshopper component it works fine however when I do the same thing via a python script for grasshopper it does not function.  I get a still different result when I run the a similar script with the rhino python editor in Rhino 5.  What am I doing that is causing this or is this a bug?
