Hi.

You'll need to add "Cross Reference" to your def.

File..

Hello Hyungsoo.  VERY NICE WORK!  Worthy of study, thank you.  I mucked around with it... that's how I learn.  This one produces some fascinating results when the wires are hooked up wrong.  :)

  • I dropped 'Mesh UV' since the result was already there from 'SrfGrid'.
  • I used length of 'Range (U)' instead of the "x+1" Expression on U input of 'SrfGrid'.
  • I replaced the 'Eval' components with 'Expression' components.
  • I extended the range of the 'Variable a' slider: Min=0.001, Max=30.
  • and other cosmetic edits...

Very cool!

Hi Joseph. thanks for your reply.

Actually, I don’t know much about "Formula driven Surface" or "Math Surface", so I don’t feel qualified to comment about that.

I just added "CrossRef" component and hooked up some wire connections to kenan's initial definition.

By the way, As you know, there are many useful informations (like this one)about the subject, so we just can focus to think of converting it into shape! Best.

It looks to me like you did more to fix his code than just adding 'CrossRef'; the math expressions look different in substantial ways?

I'm just learning about what 'CrossRef' does so it's interesting to see it used here, the more examples the better.  It is one of those expandable components like 'List Item' and 'Sort List' but how it works is far from obvious.

The page you referred to for Geometry, Surfaces, Curves, Polyhedra looks like a great resource, thanks again.
