algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Piecewise function

Hi,

Could someone suggest a way to define a piecewise function on say, the unit interval? I can do a two-part using the "if" statement but anything more involved, to me at least, becomes a bewilderment of dispatches and merges, where I always seem to scramble the initial order of points.

What sort of piece-wise function(s) do you have in mind?

I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but you can use Find Domain to figure out in which numeric range a value is.
