algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

the offset component in GH0.8 doesn't seem to work right, in that if i give negative values for identic closed curves to offset (so that it offsets them on the inside), many of them are missing. if i input positive values, it works fine.. (check attached ghx)

any solution to this? does maybe someone have a scripted component that does this right until the bug gets fixed?

(and wht is up with the forum, i had to write this in a notepad and then paste it here since it didn't let me edit anything i wrote..)

thanks a lot for taking the time!

hm, weird. i played around with it a bit more and seems that it depends where these cells sit in space. looking at the top view, the offset curves work only below the 45degree line that goes through the world origin, and if a cell includes the origin, the offset is flipped on the outside...
I think this is a bug. Have a look to this discussion:

i did have a look at that before i posted, and that is a different problem, that regards the side on which the offset happens, and i am talking about it not happening at all.
