pin pres effect

hello guys, I'm new in grasshopper and I need your help. I'm trying to make a bookshelf simillar to this one on the photo and I don't know which formula to use to make this effect that when the one side the pins are pulled, on the other there're pushed, so that one side is negative to the other one.
