Please upload a file that shows what variables you have, and what measurements need to be minimized/maximized.

i should work on a project when i have to optimize the design of steel strutures ,i think galapagos is the one !!!

but i have to minimize the weight ,and also respect a limit of constraint ;if i ask galapagos just to minimize the weight ,it will give me a structure that don't resist to external load.

For example for truss optimizer ,galapogos will give me the minimum displacement but can i achieve this also with minimum weigth ??

thank you i need help !!!
