Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey I want to add a tree with 32 branches (7:3) and N=8 at the end of another tree with the same structure.

The final tree that I looking for must be a tree with 64 branches (15:3) and N=8.

Entwine and merge doesnt´t work to me.

I found a way to do it adding a high number into path mapper but, you know, thats quite strange way.

I wish to have it at the end in a properly way with a precise path

Thanks everybody!

Hello

i made two attempts.

the first one is like yours with path mapper, instead of 1000 uses 8. if the first tree changes then the second definition does the job.

cheers

Thanks bro, the second one is exactly what I need to do. cluster time! ;)

Hello Kibito,

I am not sure this will work under any conditions but for equally sized branches it seems to be ok.

I don´t know how do you do that. I´m trying, but it´s not working on me. Maybe is something about that Graft message into your entwine box? How do you do that?

you will need the latest grasshopper which gives this option when right clicking entwine component. (untick flatten inputs)

Thanks, I´m in again. It works perfectly too
