Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi! I need some help making an array of spheres in a curve! And I would also like to know how to scale the spheres from small ones to bigger ones in the end?
If anyone can send a definition I would really apreciate it! Thanx!

Could you be more explicit with what kind of array you were after? array by base / centre; set distance apart; Do they have to be touching?

This is an example of what I´m trying to create with grasshopper.
I made this with the "copy-paste-scale one by one" method!
Let´s say that the spheres are touching each other and growing 30% its real size each time they repeat.
Help please!
hi,

tried out,
maybe a bit too complicated(i think a better formula...) but works
maybe someoneelse could simplified my file ?

Here's a VB that strings spheres on planar and non planar curves.

That´s just PERFECT! Thank you soooo much Dirk!

Now if you don´t mind, I´m uploading a few more images thar are based on the same idea, but instead of spheres growing through a curve, these ones grow through a straigh line, each one 67% bigger than the one before (in other words, a geometric progression with a 1.6 common ratio).

The first two images grow in part inside of the next sphere´s bounding box.
The third one, leave a space between each B.BOX with the same proportion.

This should give you some idea of how to introduce increments. You can run the spheres through any curve - straight or curved.
