Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello all, so I'm new to Grasshopper, and basically I am trying to discover how to connect two points. I have created two curves in grasshopper, a line and an arc, and their end points overlap. I want to merge (or group... whatever the correct term is...) their end points, because I have a number slider defining the length of the line, and I want the arc to move with the line (as in, when the line gets shorter and its end point moves, I want the end point of the arc to move too without distorting the arc). Could anyone help me out with this?

Hi Ingi,

without any visual aids here, I think the best thing to do is move the arc. You can create a translation vector using the [Vector 2Pt] component (from the arc end-point, to the new line end-point). This vector can  be used as a Move input.

Perhaps it is also possible to create the arc directly in the correct place, I do not know how your lines and arcs are defined.

That worked perfectly, thanks!
