Similar points

Hi, 

I'm having a problem connecting points from two different sources. 

Source one: A divided surface in UV (Blue)
Source two: One divided curve projected on the surface (Green)

Goal is to keep the points on the surface but only the one that are close to the divided curve points. 

I have tried with similarity but it does not work. 


Someone else who can say what I'm doing wrong or someone with a better idea?
