algorithmic modeling for Rhino

kangaroo bending help

I am currently trying to pull curves upwards so that they form flaps - the best way I could think of to do this was by using a bending force inside kangaroo. I *think* it's nearly there, but the flaps aren't actually lifting - i get confused about the points required, I think that's where it may be going wrong. Is anyone able to advise? I attach an image for clarity. Many thanks!

see attached if this is what you are looking for. don't think you need kangaroo though
