"ok...probably (but i'm really not sure of what i'm saying, so be kind with me!! :D ) it is because when you set all rotations free, even if you've got a support, this is disconnected (see the manual at page 42). try to release the…"

"ok...tell me if i get the point: you need to make a 3d truss-like structure in which elements can be bent and the nodes can't transfer bending moments but when you set all starts and ends releases you get a mechanism. is it right? if it is so,…"

"Ok, each tile is 1000x1000 pixels. Every pixel consists of 4 channels (red, green, blue and alpha) and each channel requires a single byte to be stored. Thus, a single tile requires 10002 × 4 = 4 million bytes or 4 megabytes. One thousand…"

Large deformation component

Hi all,I read the manual but I still don't understand exactly how the large deformation component works. why at the end of the iterations it clears all the stresses inside the beams?Probably what it lacks to me is a deep knowledge of non-linear anlysis...can someone guide me to some paper or book where i can understand better this kind of analysis?Thx!!FrancescoSee More
