Without seeing the definition, I'm not sure why you would be getting one extra surface. But, you can always cull that surface from the list. You may try to use the Cull Index component.
Also, you should be able to use the Mass Addition component (Sc…
hi all,the algorithm i am busy with is this: (solid) --(set frames)--(sections of solid) --(planar surfaces from sections) --(calc.of areas)--(list of areas)--(calc. of total area)i have two problems;when i use the PLANAR component, i get one extra…
For multiple operations with one component, you need to work with the data tree components. Probably a graft tree component on the rail curves will work.
You can get the contours by using a brep/plane intersection like in this image:

Hi Kostas,
a contouring operation is nothing more than a succession of intersections of a BRep and a Plane. All you have to do is generate a bunch of planes, slice your shape with all the planes, then extrude the result.

hello everyone
i m having trouble with this case :
i want to contour a surface and extrude a rectangular cross section along the contour lines, this section's proportions need to be parametrically controlled (x and y).
How do i do this ? I can do it…
