Just had the same problem but was lucky to figure out what exactly is causing the malfunction. In my case the problem is that none of the at least two (for a closed curve) splitting parameters (usually "t") is allowed to be…

Hi David and thank you!   I have two pairs of Rhino curves. To see what happens to them in GH please have a look at the images. After the "blending" process I project the lines on a lofted surface.   What I need to do now is the…

Hi h8cru,   in what order do you want these intersection points? How are your input curves sorted/defined? You could probably get there with some combination of Grafting, Cross Referencing, Shifting etc. but I need more details to say anything…

Intersection between two curves

Hi there,I´m currently working on a custom UV Mesh on a 3D surface. Now I have generated U and V Curves and projected on a lofted surface. These curves are intersecting each other but I could not figure out how I can get the intersection points. Here you have a screenshot.Hope someone has a solution. Unfortunately I´m not into VB or anything so I hope there is a simple GH solution for this, or am I just to blind to find the right button? Thanks,SebastianSee More

Did you contruct the planes originally from a brep in rhino? In that case you could always pass that brep into GH and use a surface area center point as input to a point on brep and extract the normal from the brep.

Hi taz, all surfaces are created in rhino. And their directions are shown properly as you can see on the left side. In gh I just assign these surfaces to a brep component where they automatically seem to get different directions and I do not get…

Are you referencing in your surfaces from Rhino or are you creating them entirely in GH? You could try using [Flip] to get all your GH surface normals to align to master guide surface...

Difficulties with Offset and Plane Normals

Hi there,I´ve been expiriencing some problems regarding offset in gh.I have lot (about 16000) of planes in rhino which I want to offset so I link them to a brep-component in gh.As you can see on the picture below, the normals of the planes all show in the same direction in rhino. But the gh offset result doesnt look that way!Can anyone tell me how I can get the wanted result (all in one direction)?Or perhaps seperate the two different directions so I can flip them afterwards?PS: Same problem…See More

Well the simplest, most discontinuous would just be to make a line between them using endpoints. Try using a Curve>Spline>Bezeir Span to connect using end points and the tangents at those points. Depending on the tangency at the end points,…

Thanks, I tried this before. Unfortunately I don´t know how to flip the direction of curves... Would you please give a hint? Thanks!

I simple loft should work fine. Remember to select the curves in order, maybe you need to flip one of the curve's direction.
