Hi guysI have a simple question or maybe complicated...I need curves that have same length on the list.I can't use cull pattern because the list of same length is changed by points.Only thing I can…Continue

Connecting Pyramid...

Hi guys.Unfortunately I have a very vague question...I created pyramid looking geometry from "Delaunay Mesh" and wanted to connect between those. My approach was finding points that shared between…Continue

Not when your iteration variable is an integer.    It is generally a bad idea to use decimal increments in loops, as it might lead to significant binary noise in the logic.   Let's for the sake of argument assume that the number…

Thanks a lot David! When I placed 0.5 as Step my GH crashed... Is it not possible to have decimal increments? Greetings, Arthur

The plug-in Kangaroo by Daniel Piker has a component that will remove duplicate curves. He did release a version that just had this and a couple of other useful components in. I'll see If I can find the link.

Hi, JC, Developing the system is for generating section of stadium bowl and has been stopped for a while but you may take a look. Let me know if you have any question.

You might "crossreference" it (right click on node) What it does now its to project all curves in just one surface, if you tell the data to "interact" all with all... It should work give it a try

Thanks Taz. This is really helpful. BTW what is the command connecting between Iso curve and point list? and this is a different question but is there a way to make a multiple offset? Offset curve repeatedly with same distance in certain number of…

You could try something like this to extract particular curves and measure the lengths. Otherwise you could find the centroid of each of your risers and synchronously sort based on the z-coordinate of the centroid. Then your risers will be…

Get rhino object without bake and Sweeping point(?) question

Hi guys,I have a swept surface that is a untrimmed single surface and when it's baked becomes UV constructed rhino objects. My first question is  Can I get UV or curves of this rhino object in grasshopper without baking? What I'm doing here is to get the length of corner step. So I explode steps and get a distance of Ubut this the process is very uncertain in many ways (I think...)the list is unorganized and segmented so I don't know which U value is coming from. So the second question isCan I…See More

Hi David, now I have a successful result. Basically I did not need two loops. This simple example teach me many things. Thanks for your help.

A For..Next loop works by incrementing the iteration variable until it exceeds the limit. Thus: For i As Int32 = 0 To 9 Will run 10 times. The first time, i will be zero. When the first iteration completes, i will be incremented. The default…

Hi David, I'm fixing the algorithm but there's a question. Can you explain me why the "N" value starts with 0.0? I can find any answer of that. I really appreciate your advices. Thanks.

Pretty much. I don't know if the algorithm is correct, but there doesn't appear to be an obvious error. You have two loops inside each other, that's why you're getting columns of points. If you only want points at the top, you…
