delaunay/coons/kang meshing method
8 Replies

Hi,I need a meshing tool able to consider specific points ("emitters", like corners or other user-defined points) around which it is possible to densify the mesh. See example below (Delaunay + Kang…Continue

How to cut a mesh with a curve
3 Replies

Hi,I need to create a mesh from a closed edge curve, using Delaunay Mesh, but some faces created are outside the closed curve. So I would like to cut the mesh created using the edgde curve, to trim…Continue

CrossRef to find multiple lines intersections
2 Replies

Hi, I want to find all the intersections of two sets of curves, using CCX (Curve/Curve intersection) and CrossReference (set to Holistic). But it does not work. The result is like if the CrossRef…Continue

"well...this certainly doesn't use any sort of rigorous method, but I think the results should at least get you started.  I was curious about how this process  might work...the trick I think is to set up concentric rings around each…"

"This is pretty rough but should get you there. Just cull all the mesh faces, that are outside your region. "Outside" determined by position of the face centroid."

"Try http://funclib.codeplex.com/ whats a cool any easy going one. It has the FuncLib.Optimization.Ipopt.IpoptOptimize implemented, which solves very robust and fast. You can not only define to solve to min max, but also applying Constrains. "
