Hello,I am wondering the way to retrieve a list of name from a given directory. For example, i have a specific folder, containing more than 500 sub-folders inside thus I want to collect the names for further analysis grasshopper as a string. Is there any 3rd party plug that make it possible in grasshopper environment? Thanks in advance.Kind regards,Amaraa~See More

"Yes indeed. Set windows_ to True is the way to go about it. Honeybee_Decompose Based on Type shall be used as shown following to review geometry before running simulation."

Default material properties of createHBSurfaces

Hello,I have created a simple box model for daylight and energy simulation, using a Honeybee_createHBSrfs component. Therefore, I would like to know the pre-defined energy plus values, such as R-value for Wall, and reflectance for when I assign it as window. Thank you very much~See More

"Yes, and it won't change unless EnergyPlus starts to support 100% glazing which I don't think will ever happen. You need a small offset for the child object (window) to be inside the parent object (wall)."

Surface type consistency

Hello, I am working on some research project that deals with daylight and energy simulation, thus I was working on the model on GH. But the surface type of createHBSrfs doesn’t match with the outputs of Honeybee_Decompose Based On Type component, thus the consistency of the model becomes loose by the visualization and I am little bit concerned about the model and simulation result. For example, srftype input for floor that touches ground, 2.5 “SlabOnGrade”  in createHBSrfs doesn’t recognized…See More
