Hi Anna, the Kuka post-processor is now available in the latest release on food4rhino... there is a free 90 day trial. Greg

Thanks you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the beta version.

First, a new rendering system of Godzilla robots is under development that will allow you to use all rhino rendering tools.
And we are also testing a new DIY robotic control, using Lynx Motions robots (, this free plugin will be release in a couple of weeks and will allow you to stream data and connect Firefly to it.

So you could start to built your robot, and have more fun.

I've just downloaded the version 2 beta and absolutely love it, having spent the day getting to grips with how it works and how I can apply it to building using robots.

And now for my questions :)

Is there a way of rendering the animation to use as a presentation piece?

And is there any plans on being able to control DIY robotic arms with perhaps an arduino/alternative controller? Possibly a method of doing this would there be a way of linking in the movements into something like Firefly? I'm currently studying at a University without any robotics and would love to make a crude robot arm for experimentation and development of ideas.

Thank you for this amazing release and i've really enjoyed using it so far and excited about the potential!

Hi Anna, we haven't written the Kuka post processor yet. We are planning on including this in the future, among the other robot types. Which Kuka do you use? Thanks, Greg

Hi! :-) I was wondering, after the simulation, can you get the files in the krc format for KUKA? I found the option in KUKAkrc, but not here apparently.

Is it possible to create a robot with less axis  or just one like a turning table. I need to simulate a robot and a turning table, working together.
