Material needed for given contour.

Hi. My first post here. I'm working on the staircase industry and I want to introduce Rhino and Grasshopper in my workflow.

One of my daily tasks at job includes the generation of BOMs for the materials we will use for different components of the stairs.

I want to create a Grasshopper solution to create the BOM with materials we need from the contour shape from imported DXF files. Basically I need to import a bunch of DXF files who have a layer named "Contour" and use Grasshopper to find the boundaries of contours, apply material with a gived heigh (we are using 215mm) and apply automatic dimensioning, and in final to print the solution to PDF files and generate an CSV file with the dimensions of the materials.
