Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi! I'm new to Grasshopper and I am facing a little problem with the image sampler command.

Here is the problem:

I want to sample the image below in a non-planar surface which I have already divided with rectangles (that I have scaled in order not to touch each other). The goal is to make the rectangles scale factor to follow the image's grayscale information just like I' ve seen in a couple of videos in youtube (where one can make a circle's radius follow one image's black/white information).

I have attached my grasshopper algorithm to help you cope with me. I hope it is not something very difficult!

Please help me! :-)

Thank you all in advance! Glad to be part of this community and of this whole new grasshopper world thing!

This is the Rhino file I am working on.

Something like this?

Yeah ! That looks close to what I need. It's lacking the precision of the image. How can that be more detailed in order to show the image clearly.

Ps: Thank you for your fast reply !

If you can change the U&V directions of your base surface, then you can get more closer result compare to your source image.
