Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I live in the Midwest and deal with all four seasons — rain, wind, snow, and brutal sun. I want one cover that can handle all of it and still look decent after a few years. Tri-fold is fine, just not looking to replace it every 12 months. What’s held up for you long term?

I’ve had great luck with my Extang Solid Fold 2.0, especially with mixed seasons like we get here in Illinois. It’s weather-resistant from all sides — the hinge seals don’t leak even during driving rain, and the material hasn’t warped or faded after multiple hot summers. I drive to job sites and campgrounds, and the cover’s never come loose or rattled. It folds up super fast when I haul taller gear and locks down tight with the EZ-Lock clamps. You can stand on the panels — they’re that solid. What I really liked is how low-profile it sits, so the truck still looks clean. Haven’t had to adjust anything or deal with flapping fabric like with my old soft cover. Great choice for anyone who doesn’t want to mess with it once it’s installed.
